Newfoundland Pyrenees Puppies
Iris and Byron/Grizz - Born May 5, 2022
Iris had 9 puppies: 7 males and 2 females. Mom and both Dads' pictures can be seen in our Sire and Dam Gallery.
We start letting the puppies go no earlier than 9 weeks of age. This litter will be ready at the earliest on July 7, 2022. We can make arrangements to keep them longer if necessary, but prefer puppies go to their new homes by 12 weeks of age except in special circumstances.
This was a dual sired litter using 2 of our males - Byron and Grizz. A dual or multiple sired litter is one in which the female is bred to two or more different males. This is a recognized practice among breeders and the AKC. Our main reasons for using both males were to sire the Landseer (B/W) colored pups and to see how Iris did with our new sire, Grizz, all with Iris only having to whelp one litter. Each puppy only has one father, but pups from the same litter can have different fathers.
Puppies will be $850 each.
The pups have been on puppy food as a supplement to mom's milk since 3.5 wks of age. They will be eating Taste of the Wild Pacific Stream Puppy food. Pictures of the bag are below:
Puppy videos - latest will be shown first. Also available on our YouTube Channel.
Iris's litter will be 7 weeks old on Thurs Jun 23, so we will be doing their temperament tests closer to that date. Check back then!
